Sauropod Trunks?

Is there any evidence to support the idea that Sauropods may have had a trunk, or trunk-like appendage? I can?t remember where I saw it, but someone hypothesized that the placement of the nasal opening in Sauropods is similar to that of elephants, and therefore it could have had a trunk. Anyone agree?
