AMNH Dioramas
Here's a huge and fabulous website about the American Museum of Natural
History's dioramas and the artists who created them. The site is based on the
museum's Stephen Quinn's new book, _Windows on Nature_. Of interest to
students
of dinosaur illustration are Matthew Kalmenoff and George F. Mason who
illustrated dinosaur children's books back in the 1950's. A very young Louis
Paul
Jonas is pictured, also. Sean Murtha is there, too. He's responsible for the
Liaoning habitat group backround in the currently touring Dinosaurs: Ancient
Fossils, New Discoveries exhibit. DV
