The collection of 45,000 fossils is very admirable on its own. I realize
some of the scientific value of the material may be lost, but probably
could be remedied by simply going back to some of the students thay may
have been on the digs and getting them to retrace thier way back to the
dig sites.
That's an awful lot of students, most of which participated in an awful lot
of digs... many just won't remember enough.
On the other hand, as dear old dad always said, "The more you stir in s$^%
the more it stinks".....
Ever seen a bad WC? In such cases... if you don't stir in it, it keeps
stinking forever.
