Brazilian scientists claim oldest dino findings
Rio Grande do Sul scientists claim have found the dinosaur grandpa
A 1.5 m long carnivorous creature could be the first 'true' dino. It
would have had evolutionary success by exploring an efficient bipedal
stance.
A little gaucho with only 0.5 m high could be in the way to cause a
major change in the dinosaur genealogical tree. According to its
discovers, the creature, a carnivorous one that lived 228 millions
years ago, would be the first ancestor of all dinosaurs to learn to
walk on two legs in a truly efficient way, getting into a prototype of
all others species in the group that came latter.
Other researches think that the finding is interesting, but ask for
prudence in the analysis.
