Re: BAD vs. BADD (was: Re: Most popular/common dinosaur misconceptions)
For me, non-avian dinosaur should be used to describe
dinosaurs that have not began playing in the bird zone
and only when nessessary to exclude avian forms.
Dinosaurs, Birds and Avian Dinosaurs are three
seperate things. Granted it's this gray area between
the three that warrents this discussion which makes it
so that no one seems to be either right or wrong. But
for my part I think we need terms that are as simple
and basic as possible to simply describe what one is
talking/writing about, and unless specificly
discussing the dinosaur/bird connection, I don't think
the connection needs to be brought up everytime either
is discussed.
