Re: New Limbed Cretaceous Snake
Why is it that when a *single* fossil is found that seems to contradict a
given theory, there's always someone who tries to use it as evidence
encompassing the entire evolutionary history of the group it belonged to?
Shouldn't more than one fossil, from multiple locations and ages, be known
before an entire theory can be said to be solidly disproved? Or is it that
some researchers have vested interests in disproving theories that contradict
their own, thus they jump on the slightest bit of evidence and blow it out of
proportion?
