And while on the topic of nomenclature, I came across this paper from last 
year:

Harris, J.D. (2004). "Published works" in the Electronic Age: recommended 
amendments to Articles 8 and 9 of the Code.  Bulletin of Zoological 
Nomenclature 61(3): 138-148.

Harris argues (very convincingly, IMHO) that in the event that 
_Epidendrosaurus ningchengensis_ and _Scansoriopteryx heilmanni_ are 
demonstrated to be subjective synonyms, then the former name should get 
priority.  However, this requires both pro- and retroactive changes to the 
current ICZN (as the title implies).
