  I agree with this completely. Perhaps replace "medium" with "small" and we're
in business. I illustrated this many years ago as one of the habits of eating
in oviraptorids, showing a manus clawing open a clam. This is more effective
and used today more often than cracking shells, and long claws make great
prybars. Unfortunately, since my original Tripod site died and I dismantled
what's there save the references page, that image has been lost to the aether,
though some intrepid fellow may have saved it, I cannot send it.
