"Sinbad" is used in the English speaking world, at least. You may need to
look for Arabic forms of the name, such as in the 1,001 Nights. "Sindbad" is
used in Russian, Poland, Holland, among others.

-delphys is a common stem for marsupials, just as baatar is used for multis,
without much direct regard to etymological correspondence between other applied
stems to form a coherent phrase. That's not the point, and in this case,
"delphys" is used in a shortened form to refer to a concept rather than
explicitly refer to the organism's forking or non-forking of the uterus (Di
versus Mono delphyses), or even to *Didelphys* at all. Lately, it's a small
opossum like animal, so a more general meaning applied may be "Sinbad's
opossum".

Little steps are often the hardest to take. We are too used to making leaps
in the face of adversity, that a simple skip is so hard to do. We should all
learn to walk soft, walk small, see the world around us rather than zoom by it.
