Wasn't there a proposal a few years ago that the rise and
decline of /C.megalodon/ was in concert with respectively the rise of
whales large enough to be a good meal for a "super-predator", and the
decline followed the rise of /Orca/ -like whales that could harass the
baleen whales in their cold-water feeding areas?

OB-Dino: /C.megalodon/ may have kicked /T.rex's/ butt, in
/C.meg's/ environment, but /T.rex/ would have chewed /C.meg's/ limbless
butt in *it's* own environment.
