Well, the thing is, if all it says is that molecular differences made the
dinosaurs go extinct, one could read anything into it.
Are we to suppose birds (or, I suppose, Neornithine birds) did not have
these differences, and therefore survived? And what about the other taxa
that vanished at the K/T? Were they, simialrly, molecularly challenged?
