Making a mess of B. mesai (or, that darn possessive I)
Hello everybody,
_Brachytrachelopan_, original, and succinct, even if it is a bit of a tongue
twist. I assume the favored (I won't bother saying "Correct") pronunciation
runs along the lines of...
brak-ee-lo-trak-eh-lo-pan (not sure about the stresses).
Now, onto my question: _mesai_. I'm sure the original pronunciation of Mr.
Mesa's last name should remain (I'm assuming its MAY-sa), but what about the
male genitive I? Should it be pronounced separately? (as "eye" or "ee"?)
Or should the last two vowels be vocalized together into, what...?
I just want to be sure I'm not screwing up the intended pronunciation. Lord
know's people have a hard enough time understanding me as it is without
further complication. :-)
Pre-emptive thank you,
Tommy
