money bought meals, trips, no kids museum
--
Before this gets too far gone, I thought I'd add my 2 bits on this
posting of articles by Mary. We have been involved in the problems
of getting things started at the very beginning and we know the
situation well. No person can get a museum off the ground for free.
It takes time and money. The controlling forces of the Build Indiana
Fund, a fund set aside from gambling proceeds in Indiana have been
consistently guilty of giving out money and then taking it back.
(Google Build Indiana Fund)
No one in their right mind thinks that one brick of a museum can be
laid down with an up-front endowment of $500,000. This is a case of
state ineptitude and a poor paleontologist is a scapegoat.
