I saw the new Kong on Monday and really liked it (didn't love it).   
Kong' s proportions were very gorilla like, and his acting was a good  
mix of anthropamorphazised and gorilla.  The dinosaurs on the other  
hand were very caricatured but fun.  The sauropods were a nod to the  
old school, but still not a good design...oh yeah, they gallop as well.
