I have a pretty long running relationship with the Academy too, going back about
15 years, and also with the ghost of Cope ;) so to speak. The Academy is a
treasure, both historically and scientifically a treasure. My guess is that if
you were to talk with Cope, or Leidy, or Lewis and Clark or President Jefferson,
or Wistar, or Ben Franklin that their ghosts would be deeply concerned that this
wonderful place continue on and get back on track so to speak. Jane Davidson
