You forget the Monoclonius chomped by Gwangi in
Harryhausen's "The Valley of Gwangi".
As far as a TRex-Triceratops battle sequence goes, have
you seen the latest BBC "Dinosaur Wars" on Discovery
Channel where they analyze what would happen if TRex
fought Triceratops (and show both possible outcomes)?
They also did a Tarbosaurus vs. Ankylosaur, and
Velociraptor vs Protoceratops battles. Aside from the
computer generated animation, the machines they created
to actually "test" the various weapons (teeth, clubs,
claws, horns) added some amazing realism. The
"interior" views of a Velociraptor claw stabbing
through a pig jugular, the TRex jaws ripping a pig
carcass (and also a compact car) apart and the
Ankylosaurus' tail club smashing through a piece of
wood that resembled a telephone pole in width, as if it
was a matchstick, all had me wincing.
