New AMNH Website



The American Museum of Natural History now has a new  website featuring their 
classic fossil halls. Included are 360 degree virtual  views of each hall, a 
selection of individual specimens, and videos by Norell  and Novacek 
discussing various exhibits. Two items to note: 1) Irish Elk video.  Note 
Charles 
Knight's exquisite model in the lower right corner. This is seldom,  if ever, 
reproduced.  2) In the 360 degree pan of the Ornithischian Hall,  behold the 
mighty 
lengths of the plaster tails of the Anatotians. They  practically stretch to 
New Jersey!
