It certainly does, as others have mentioned to me  off-list. You would have 
to ask Larry Martin or someone else at KU about that.  But the pose raises real 
questions. My post was not meant as an endorsement, but  rather an 
opportunity to see this type of configuration in an actual sauropod  skeleton. 
I have 
questions about the "elbow" joint, for instance. DV
