It´s pretty hard to trip quadrupeds when they aren´t running, and I bet 
a daily jog wasn´t on the leisure menu for Brachiosaurus.  There is 
another reason why large animals are so difficult to trip up; momentum 
is a simple function of mass and velocity.  Because of the huge mass of 
Brachiosaurus, little items like trees and cars (well, car-sizd 
objects...) would be unlikely to slow (i.e. decelerate) the animal 
enough to make tripping a problem.  Ok, maybe metasequoyia, but I bet 
they could manage to avoid the 30 meter tall trees during locomotion...
