Re: the headless juvenile Pterodaustro

And this isn't anything else why? And an ungual in a non-functional digit
why? There are so many impossibilities that we are left with the gasping need
to find extraordinary reasons to believe these interpretations are valid, such
as first-hand observations and high-res photographs. This hasn't occured. Chris
Bennett's own high-res photos disprove the lower-res photos used to support
several photointerpreted features, as have newer photos of the surface of Mars
disproved the older interpretations of pyramids and Hoagland's "Face".

Fortunately, the above photograph seems to have been taken at a different
lighting angle than the published one, and the element Dave identified as a
digit has been shifted from mostly beside the fourth metacarpal, completely
onto its ventral surface instead. Bunnies in the clouds? On closer look, it's
actually a castle ... or my brother's face. I swear I could see Mickey Mouse on
the wall of my therapist's office, and there was such an undeniable pair of
figures on the pressboard walls of my bedroom that I used a Sharpie to mark
them out. Please note what I wrote before about mirages: given our eyes and
brains, we will try to interpolate what we think it there from what isn't.
Rorschach developed a whole technique to testing this idea psychologically, as
noted previously by David Marjanovic and myself.

  Cheers,

Jaime A. Headden
