burgess shale

i have read richard fahey's life and gould's wonderful life and am 
completely enraptured with those creatures.  i love trilobites, but the 
other animals in there . . . have any of you actually been to the site and 
seen them still embedded?  how does it make u feel?  i know when i figure 
out a problem (i am currently teaching myself calculus) i get this mental 
rush that is, pardon the expression, better than sex.  what is it like to 
see these strange animals all over and think about being in that ocean?

i am waiting for people to computer animate a full feature film about the 
animals in the shale . . . weird weird weird.
