"Sleeping dragon" links dinosaurs to birds
Tomorrow, October 13, 2004, the journal, _Nature_, will publish a report of
an Early Cretaceous 53 cm long troodontid from the Liaoning Province of
China which is preserved in a characteristically bird-like sleeping
position. The authors include Xu Xing and Mark Norell. See

The newspaper article offers no details, but it refers to the animal as "Mei
Long."
