Re: Lagerpeton
Does anyone have the latest on Lagerpeton?
I hope I'm wrong, but I fear there is no recent work on *L.*...
Cladistic analysis puts it no where near Marasuchus.
Could you specify "nowhere near"? According to textbook wisdom, the two
aren't supposed to be sistergroups:
Dinosauromorpha
|--*Lagerpeton*
`--Dinosauriformes
|--*Marasuchus*
`--+--*Pseudolagosuchus*
`--Dinosauria
Also, have you included the inturned femoral head, the ankle and the toe
proportions, among other things?
