Big Trike heads
Dear List,
I was finally able to visit The BYU Earth Science Museum this week. I was
able to catch Ken Stadtman, before he retires tomorrow. He informed me that the
so called Triceratops " Maximus " has a nine foot skull. Both the cast and the
original are under wraps, under the football stadium, and unexcessable to us
mere mortals.
The skull cast was taking up to much room in the bone lab. It was like
parking a V W Bug next to all the expanding rows of fossils. The original is
very delicate, and is literally falling apart.
FYI, Having seen it, I still think that it is a large T. Horridus.
