Coelurosaur Analysis update, with Graciliraptor, Atrociraptor, Sinusonasus, Aberratiodontus, etc.
Well, a lot's been changing in my analysis since last time-(

- Acrocanthosaurus, Borsti, NGMC 2124 (the "third Sinosauropteryx"),
Sinornithomimus, Graciliraptor, Atrociraptor, Sinusonasus and
Aberratiodontus added.
- Tyrannosauridae broken into Gorgosaurus and Tyrannosaurus (still coding
Albertosaurus, Daspletosaurus and Tarbosaurus).
- Variraptor is limited to the holotype sacrum and dorsal, as the rest may
not be properly referred.
- Bambiraptor and other dromaeosaurs had many codings added from Feathered
Dragons.
- many characters refined so as not to be correlated with each other.
Things in progress-
- Breaking down Ornithomimidae, Mononykinae and Oviraptoridae.
- Creating a list of all relevent characters previously used in analyses
which tested coelurosaur interrelationships.
- Adding any pubic, ischial or hindlimb characters.
- Refining several of the characters I already have.

Notice the interesting pattern-
|--segnosaurs
`--+--oviraptorosaur (Incisivosaurus)
`--+--oviraptorosaur (Caudipteryx)
`--+--oviraptorosaurs (caenagnathids, oviraptorids, etc.)
`--+--bird-like oviraptorosaur (Avimimus)
`--+--ovi-like birds (omnivoropterygids)
`--+--+--ovi-like birds (Shenzhouraptor, Jixiangornis)
| `--predatory deinonychosaurs (archaeopterygids,
troodontids, dromaeosaurs)
`--+--ovi-like birds (confuciusornithids)
`--predatory birds (enants, ornithuromorphs)
Maniraptorans are basally herbivorous in this phylogeny, with
deinonychosaurs and birds both developing carnivorous clades independently.
I doubt this result will stay for future analyses, but it's just logical
enough to be intriguing. Besides the big picture, there are some other
notable things.
- Proceratosaurus by Monolophosaurus (as in Paul, 2002).
- Tyrannosaurids separated by supposedly more basal taxa.
- All the Yixian 'compsognathids' clade together.
- Variraptor an oviraptorosaur, without using the double-pleurocoeled
anterior dorsal.
- Archaeopterygids and scansoriopterygids are deinonychosaurs, and Rahonavis
is a dromaeosaur. The latter's pes isn't even coded yet.
- Yixian dromaeosaurs form a basal clade, as in Xu and Wang (2004).
