Well, it seems as all that time was well invested as it appears that
ALL of Chas.R.Knight's "Sistine Chapel of Paleontology" murals will be restored
and put back on display (see www.charlesrknight.com and
http://www.fieldmuseum.org/dinozone/gallery2.html). A gutsy move by the Field,
as the science has
progressed beyond Knight in many instances, but the beauty and power of his art
will live on at least for a while longer. Natural history museum art is an
endangered species, we owe the Field Museum our thanks. DV
