Have the tyrannosaurs imploded yet?

I know it's been in the air for a while that tyrannosauridae has been
over-split, and that many of the genera that were considered valid a
few years back are now looked upon with more suspicious.  But has
anyone actually published on this yet, or is it all Internet Chatter?
