This is certainly news to me. I did not know about any such proposed _Dryptosaurus_-_Betasuchus_ link. The only reports I've seen put _Dryptosaurus_ in the Coelurosauria (perhaps close to tyrannosaurids) and _Betasuchus_ (provisionally) in the Ceratosauria.
