Dinosaurs & Chocolate

Attention dinophiles! Bored while waiting for those time-consuming 
downloads/printouts of papers late at night? Holding out for that special 
ornament to 
sit atop your monitor? Dispair no longer, because DINOMANIA dinosaur figurines 
are now here! I received some samples from TJ Scimone of PROMOTOPIA, the 
company that makes them, and they're really fun to snap together and look at. A 
franchised American version of the collectible Japanese Chocolasaurus figures 
that 
came out several  years ago, these are beautifully done and generally quite 
accurate, painted little models of dinosaurs, paleobirds and mammals and 
invertebrates that sit on their own tiny stands, and can be snapped together in 
a 
few minutes. There are skulls and skeletons in each of the 3 series of 24 
figures as well as the flesh reconstructions, and each figure comes with a 
small bag 
of chocolate drops to get you through the wee hours till bedtime. You can 
purchase the whole series (72 in all, in 3 sets) or buy them one by one (as in 
Gomer Pyle, this way you never know what you're going to get!). All together a
