You raise a very good question, for which there are absolutely no secure
answers at the moment!
An abelisaurid affinity has been proposed, as has a non-tyrannosaurid
tyrannosauroid position. I would say that the latter is more likely, but
given how scrappy the material is, there is not much confidence in that.
