RE: Announcement for Rugops Primus

Superb as always, Todd. The water really pulls the eye across the piece. But I've got to ask... has Sereno found that hadrosaur of yours yet? ;)
Looking forward to hearing more about that... bull-like croc you've illustrated there, too! :P

Hello list,

I'm very happy and honored to help announce today, the release of the new
abelisaurid from Africa, Rugops primus, that Dr. Paul Sereno (with the
support of National Geographic), Jack Conrad of the University of Chicago,
and Jeffrey Wilson of the University of Michigan described.

The wonderful reconstruction of the skull, and bust sculpture of Rugops was
done by, Tyler Keillor, on Paul's team. Some really outstanding work by
Tyler!

More news to come in National Geographic

Cheers,
