Sloths (was Re: Flamingos and grebes)

For those interested in such things, there is another paper in the same issue
(Timothy J. Gaudin: Phylogenetic relationships among sloths (Mammalia,
Xenarthra, Tardigrada): the craniodental evidence) confirming the diphyletic
origins of living tree sloths.  The three-toed sloth (_Bradypus_) is sister to
all other sloths, while the two-toed sloth (_Choloepus_) is a megalonychid.
