Cross-disciplinary science can be wrought with pitfalls (not to mention
being pitted with wroughtfalls). It's a little like pulling a rabbit out
of a hat, without ever having practiced the trick before.
When it works well, its like watching a Houdini act. When it goes badly,
its like watching a Galliger performance.
Or so I am told.
