Following on from Ralph's comments...
We provided the BBC with a picture of one of the teeth, complete with scale
bar, but they cut it out. The photo was actually taken on a flatbed scanner,
which is routine procedure for small objects which come in to the museum for
identification. It's much quicker and easier than fiddling around with our
digital camera, and as you can see, you get fairly good images.
