Since you are mentioning *Hybodus*... AFAIK, the oldest hybodontiform 
chondrichthyans
are Devonian-Carboniferous: *Onychoselache*, *Tristychius* and 
*Hamiltonichthys*,
and some isolated scales referred to as *Arauzia*. But of course, there
are non hybodontiform sharks that are older.
Back to dinosaurs :-)
