Perhaps the mammals' egg-eating spree at the end of the Cretaceous coincides
with the evolution of plants of the family Cannabaceae (perhaps even
_Cannabis sativa_). Here's what I think happened: The asteroid struck the
earth, all the plants caught fire, and mammals (forced to inhale) were hit
by an attack of the munchies. All those yummy dinosaur eggs didn't stand a
chance!
