Re: Kinetosaurs



I've seen "Kinetosaurs" in person.  They're basically welded sculptures
resembling dinosaur skeletons, outfitted with cables and pulleys so that
they can be worked like large, heavy marionettes.  They are generally
correct in their overall proportions, and nice works of art, but they are
not particularly detailed, and the movement is stereotyped and stylized.
They aren't the most sophisticated animatronics around, by any means, but
it's a good workout making them move!

I would hesitate to use the term "close-to-life" and "Kinetosaurs" in the
same sentence.  (Oops!  I just did)!
