Living with tigers and T. rex

Did anyone see "Living With Tigers" on Discovery last Sunday (it will be 
repeated this Saturday at noon)?  The sequences showing the trainers teaching 
the tigers to hunt and to recognize prey were interesting, as was the tigers' 
first reaction to seeing the ostriches (they were afraid of the birds).  
However, the eventual chase sequence was great.  

I was thinking about the program in terms of the cloning of extinct species and 
their introduction into nature preserves:  who would teach, say, a T. rex to 
hunt?  Would it recognize prey?  The mighty tiger didn't and hid from all of 
those fluttering feathers.  

Commentary on the chase sequence was that only cheetahs were supposed to be 
fast enough to catch ostriches...
