For the Artists and Other Frank Frazetta Fans
One of the great joys of my youth was the discovery of the prehistoric sagas
of Edgar Rice Burroughs either at the Earth's Core or in The Land that Time
Forgot and sometimes with Tarzan in Pal-ul-don. My grandfather, a charter
member
science fiction nut, had the original versions but also purchased the Ace
paperback reprints that featured the fabulous cover art of Frank Frazetta. I'm
sure his artwork made quite the impression on many of you in your salad days.
I've just received notification that Bud Plant now has available a new 90
minute
video biography of Frazetta's life and work with a DVD to follow this fall.
Bill Stout's in it, but I don't know offhand if Mary is interviewed about
posing for either the savage or demure maidens, can't remember which.
Regardless,
information is available at: http://www.budplant.com/prod.itml?icObjectId=11853
