Why the pelvic features are unusual?

For starters, it's not opisthopubic (pubis directed posteroventrally), instead it's mesopubic (pubis directed roughly "ventro-vertically", is there another word for this?), the pubic boot is enlarged anteriorly, the obturator process is more proximally positioned relative to other dromaeosaurids, and the ilium is more squared-shaped than parallelogram shaped.

does any one have the achillobator paper in pdf?

if you do, could you send it for me.

If it was available in PDF, it's not very widely distributed. I have a feeling it's only available in hardcopy... now if someone might take the initiative to scan in those pages and make a PDF, we'd have something there wouldn't we?
