Couple of News Stories
A couple of interesting news stories from ScienceDaily that noone seems to
have mentioned:

This article suggests that the dinosaurs experienced numerous climactic
warming/cooling events in the late
Cretaceous and sailed right through nicely. Conclusion: it really was the
big space rock what done 'em in.
And:
http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2003/01/030117081103.htm
entitled "Early Mammals Used Pelvic Bones To Trot, Study Finds". Article
concludes that the "epipubic bones", long thought to be there to support
marusupial pouches, in fact evolved to increase mobility.
