Dear List,
I will be gone from June 10th
through July 8th for a big job / vacation. I am going to be in Pidgeon Forge,
Tennesee as the Art and Exibit Director for a new dinosaur museum going up
next to Dollywood. The Museum is called "Dinosaur Walk", and I have been
working on this project for the past four months.
I was given pretty free reign
on the exibits, and was able to hire an all A-list of paleoartists. Here is
some of what we have. These are all full sized sculptures.
Gary Staab: Sarchosuchus and
Coelopysis
Czerkases: Allosaurus and
styracosaurus.
Hall Train Studios: Apatosaurus Ajax
Anamatronix: T-Rex. This is the one that Jim
Kirkland and ( I think ) Greg Paul helped with.
Charlie Mcgrady: Daspletosaurus, parasaurolophus,
mongolia fauna, petrified forest fauna, sea reptiles, and so on.
We will have over 30 different
species of full scale prehistoric animal sculptures, with a number of other
exibits.The initial opening is July first.We
will be adding additional items throughout the year as they
arrive.
