Ichabod Crane
Ichabod Crane was the name of the headless horseman of Sleepy Hollow in
Washington Irving's story. When Novacek and Norell found a dromaeosaur
skeleton in Mongolia, it "lacked a precious head... Informally called
"Ichabodcraniosaurus," the skeleton remains under investigation in New York
to this day." (Novacek, 1996, "Dinosaurs of the Flaming Cliffs," p. 114.)
