Are pterosaur (Queztalcoatlus) fossils found around Taos, New Mexico? What about Pleistocene Teratorn fossils?
Would such remains be recognizable to non-experts as creatures with beaks and/or wings?
I'm trying to trace a report of a "giant wing with bones the size of a man's arm" that was kept at Taos in the 1800s. Any help will be much appreciated!
