Gene That Separates Apes from Humans Identified



This isn't a dinosaur posting, but it involves genetic evolution.

This gene controls production of a sugar - Apes have it, all humans do
not (Neanderthals do not have this gene either).  This gene disappears
from humans between 2.5 and 3 mya.
