I stand corrected..... Canine Distemper was the disease talked about in the 
show..... and it does indeed cause horrific effects to man's best friend. These 
effects include hallucinations, wasting away, anc eventually convulsing to 
death. There was a scene in the show that depicted a male lion in 
convulsions... It was far from pleasant. I think it's refered to generally as 
"Distemper"... It all depends on the animal infected I guess. (Thanks Chip)
