Paravian questions
Dear all,
In October of 2001, David Marjanovic put forth the following as a potential
synapomorphy linking *Archaeopteryx* and the deinonychosaurs:
Sacral transverse processes and ribs are longer than the transverse process
of the caudals and the dorsals
What does "transverse" mean? And is HP Marjanovic's synapomorphy valid?
Does anyone have any quality skeletals or photographs of the *Microraptor*
holotype and/or the two new specimens?
Does anyone have any quality photographs of NGMC 98-5-003 ("Huaxiasaurus")?
Is the magnum foramen posteroventrally oriented in any particular
non-neornithine dinosaurs?
What are the synapomorphies for the Neornithes?
Thanks in Advance,
Nick Gardner [Aim] CloudRaptor05
