Dinosaur Genera List update #190

Andy Heckert's doctoral dissertation recently became available through UMI,
and in it are two new dinosaur genera and altogether three new dinosaur
species. These are admitted to the Dinosaur Genera List with the notation [
nomen ex dissertatione], since they are in a publicly available document.
They are not, however, scientifically published names according to ICZN rules
(so, for example, they're not protected by priority) and should not be cited
as such in scientific papers. I presume formal publication of these taxa is
imminent.

Heckert, Andrew B., 2002. The microvertebrate record of the Upper Triassic
lower Chinle Group (Carnian), southwestern United States, and the early
evolution of dinosaurs, University of New Mexico 2001 Ph.D. dissertation: 465
pp. [available from University Microfilms International, document AAT
3041086].

All three species are based on teeth, Late Carnian Chinle Group:

Crosbysaurus harrisae gen. & sp. nov. (Texas, Arizona, New Mexico)
Protecovasaurus lucasi gen. & sp. nov. (Texas, Arizona)
Revueltosaurus hunti sp. nov. (Arizona)

The new genera become DGL genera #951 and 952:

Crosbysaurus Heckert, 2002 [nomen ex dissertatione]
Protecovasaurus Heckert, 2002 [nomen ex dissertatione]
