Re: Saurophaganax questions




Actually, there were casts of a Sauraphaganax claw made some time back,
because I've got one, along with an Allosaurus digit one claw that came from
David Alden / Saurian Studios several years ago, when he was still in
business.  I don't know if he sold them commercially, as I got it as well as
some other "interesting" casts ( for instance an AMNH velociraptor skull
cast that apparently wasn't available to the public, etc. . .)  in trade for
some artwork. Outside curve on the Allosaurus claw measures 9 3/8" . . . on
the Saurophaganax it's 14".  I don't know who produced it, but I suspect
there are others around as well.
