       The Burpee Museum is to be congratulated for what sounds like a fine
specimen. Two bits at the website got my attention, however. Bakker
"discovered" "Nanotyrannus" in the Cleveland Museum collections?! I'd hate
to
think this will be entering the mythology.<<
Well, I'll wait for the specimen to be cleaned up and described before I
make any comments. I've heard that there are at least 3 camps on the genus.
One, it's a juvenile T. rex; Two, it's a large dromaeosaurid, and Three, it
is a valid genus (which is fine by me).

Ever been collecting in 100 and up degrees? I have, but if you start in the
cool of the morning and keep going till the hot afternoon, it's not that bad
because you've become acclimated to the heat. I've gone in from 115 degrees
to an air-conditioned building and then came out and that was when I felt
the heat! So I don't know why they're digging at night. You'd have to have
lots of lights to do so. Also, what's Bakker doing outside of Wyoming? :)

Ok, Dan, this is twice you've made these kind of comments. Really, how do
you feel about this? :) Don't beat around the bush, let us Really know how
you feel...:)
